Help young people move forward on their course or career path
Guiding young people on their path and helping them discover crafts and trades is an Afev priority. To open up possibilities, fight against social and cultural impediments and so that choosing one’s path does not get frustrating or hurtful, Afev carries out different action plans under the “Démo’Campus” label. These actions take on various forms, depending on needs and areas : one-to-ones at home, collective sessions in schools, parents involvement etc.
Démo’Campus is deployed in most of our action areas, with a common goal : to make higher learning accessible and encourage school and high school students to make their own choices. Since 2020, Welcome Mentoring has added a new layer to this program by allowing new students to easily enter their new community and neighborhood.
